Abdul Sattar Edhi or Maulana Edhi is the six most famous and popular pakistani in Pakistan. Abdul Sattar Edhi was born on Abdul Sattar Edhi 1 January 1928 Bantva, British India. His nationality is Pakistani. Abdul Sattar Edhi is a prominent Pakistani Philanthropist, Public figure, Social Activist, and an Humanitarian. He is well known for his social and simple lifestyle. Abdul Sattar Edhi is the founder and head of Edhi foundation. With his wife Bilquis Edhi, Abdul Sattar Edhi received the Ramon Magsaysay Award for Public service in 1986. He also received Balzan Prize and Lenin Peace Prize. In year 2006, Institute of Business Administration Pakistan granted hi an Honoris causa degree of doctor of Social Service Management for their services. In year 2010, Abdul Sattar Edhi was awarded for Ahmadiyya Muslim Peace Prize. In September 2010, Abdul Sattar Edhi was also awarded an degree of doctorate by the University of Bedforshire. In year 1985 Abdul Sattar Edhi was awarded for the Nishan-e-Imtiaz by the Government of Pakistan.
He has been running the Edhi Foundation in Pakistan from the bulk of sic decades. This Edhi Foundation owns the Worlds largest Ambulance services, orphanages, Women's shelter, and operates free nursing, and rehabilitation centers for drug victims and mentally ill peoples all across the Pakistan. He has remained a Modesty and simple man. For that day, Edhi owns two pairs of simples clothes. Abdul Sattar Edhi has never taken a salary from his orginsation and he lives in a small apartment over his clinic. Abdul Sattar Ehi has been granted for a Nobel Peace prize from the Prime Minister of Pakistan. On year 25 June 2013 His kidneys failed and it was announced that he will be on dialysis treatment for the cure of his life. Abdul Sattar Edhi has been called the legendary greatest living man in the world.

He received numerous numbers of awards like Paul Harris Fellow from Rotatory International Foundation in 1993, Peace Prize from for services in the Armenian earthquake disaster in 1998, Largest Voluntary Ambulance Organization of the World – Guinness Book of World Records by 2000 to 2002, Hamdan Award for volunteers in Humanitarian Medical Services, International Balzan Prize for Humanity, Peace and Brotherhood from Italy, Peace and Harmony Award (Delhi) in 2001, Peace Award in 2004, Peace Award (Hyderabad Deccan), Wolf of Bhogio Peace Award 2005, Gandhi Peace Award in Delhi in 2007, UNESCO Madan jeet sing Peace Award in 2007, Peace Award Seoul in South Korea in year 2008. He also recieved many national awards like Silver Jubilee Shield by College of Physicians and Surgeons, Pakistan, The Social Worker of Sub-Continent by Government of Sind, Pakistan, Shield of Honor by Pakistan Army.
