Vishal Veeru Devgan better known as Ajay devgn is an Indian actor famous in Bollywood. He was born on 2 April, 1969 in New Delhi. Ajay devgn was born to the famous director and action choreographer Veeru devgan and Veena.  Ajay studied in alumnus of the Silver beach high school in juhu and Mithibai college. Ajay devgn has established himself as one of the leading producer, director and actor in the Bollywood film industy. Ajay devgn has worked in more than 80 Hindi films. Ajay started his acting career as a child actor with the film Pyari Behna. He is the first Indian to own a Maserati Quattroporte. In year 2003, he has won "National Film award" in Best actor category for his illustration of Bhagat Singh in the biopic "The Legend of Bhagat Singh.

Family/Marriage

The members of Ajay devgn familyn are related to the bollywood film industry. His father is well known stunt choreographer and Ajay mother Venna devgn a film producer. Ajay devgn brother called Anil devgn is a bollywood film director. Their daughter Nysa was born on 20 April, 2003 and son Yug was born on year 13 September, 2010. In August 2009, his surname was changed to its current spelling  from its more well known "Devgan" at the request of Ajay's family.

Career

In year1991, Ajay made his debut as a lead actor in the movie Phool Aur Kaante. This superhit film earned him a Filmfare award. In 1992, he acted in bollywood martial arts action romantic film "Jigar" with Karisma kapoor. This film was the 7th highest grossing film of the year at box office. He later launced a production company known as Ajay devgn film productions. Ajay devgn first movie was Raju Chacha in year 2000 starring Ajay and Kajol in lead. In year 2002, Ajay devgn have a critically acclaimed performance in the film Deewangee. Ajay devgn also recieved Filmfare best Villain award for this film. In 2008, Ajay debuted as a film director with U ME Aur Hum. Throughout his career he has performed in Successful films including Yuva, Raincoat, Omkara, Apaharan, Golmaal and much more.
