Rajiv hari Om bhatia, better known as Akshay kumar is a famous television actor in Indian cinema. Actor Akshay Kumar was born on 9 September, 1967 in Punjab, India. Akshay has done his schooling from Don bosco school, Mumbai. He did his graduation from Guru nanak khalsa college, Mumbai. In 2004, Akshay was awarded for Rajiv Gandhi award for his Bollywood achievements and in 2008, Honorary Doctorate of Law by University of Windsor, Ontario, Canada. In 2009, he recieved the Padma shri award by the Government of India. He is also a famous producer who has produced more than 10 films. Akshay kumar belongs to a middle class household family and was brought up in Chandni chowk, Delhi and then they moved to Mumbai. Former martial artist Akshay has the film list of more than 100 films and also he has been a part of it. Akshay started his acting debut in Bollywood with his 1st movie Saugandh in 1991 which did not prove to be a hit one. In year 1992, Akshay was seen in his 2nd film 'Khiladi' which proved to be a hit and from then he has appeared in 8 films which have the term 'khiladi' in the title, better known as Khiladi Series. In year 2008, he made his television debut as a host of Tv show named Khatron Ke Khiladi. Akshay established his Hari Om Entertainment production company in 2009. In 2011, his production company net worth crossed $65 million. Now Akshay will be seen as Ranjit katyal in the next upcoming film Airlift.

Akshay loves to stay fit, healthy and to be in shape and is also involved in his hobbies to attain so. Akshay is a big fan of cars and even has a very long list of brand supports.
