PewDiePie was born as Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg and grown in Gothenburg, Sweden. He was born to Johanna and Ulf Kjellberg, and grew up with his sister, Fanny, as well. His mother Johanna, a former KappAhl CIO, was named the 2010 CIO of the Year in Sweden. His father, Ulf, is also a Chief Executive of a company. In 2008, he graduated from Göteborgs Högre Samskola. He then went on to pursue a degree in Industrial Economics and Technology Management at Chalmers University of Technology, but left the university in 2011 to focus on his YouTube career. On this choice, PewDiePie has expressed, "Thinking about it now, it was utterly absurd". To get into Chalmers for modern financial matters you require straight A's, yet some way or another  I was happier selling hot dogs and making my own particular gaming-videos.
