Aamir Khan Biography


Aamir Hussain Khan better known as Aamir Khan was born on 14 March 1965 in Mumbai, India. Aamir join J.B. Petit school for his primary education, Bandra till the 8th grade and later his 9th and 10th grade at the Bombay Scottish school, Mahim. Aamir played tennis sport in state level championships and he was much more into sports than studies. Aamir Khan passed his 12th grade from Mumbai's Narsee Monjee college.

Aamir Khan Personal life


Aamir Khan was born in a filmy family. He has 3 sibilings Farhat Khan, Faisal khan and Nikhat khan. He is also a descendant of former President of India, Abul Kalam Azaad. Aamir Khan fell in love with Reena dutta and he got married to her on 18 April, 1986 but the couple divorced.  Junaid Khan and daughter Ira Khan are his kids from his wife Reena dutta.  She has also worked as a producer in the film Lagaan. Reena took the responsibility of both childrens himself. Later on 5 December 2005 Aamir Khan got married to Kiran rao. He is a relaxed parent and believe in trusting the children.

Career

Aamir Khan first appeared as a child actor in the film Yaadon ki Baaraat in 1973. Aamir Khan  made his debut in the bollywood with the film Holi.  After that there was no looking back for the actor. Aamir has recieved his Best actor Award for  playing a hard character of a taxi driver in a Blockbuster film Raja hindustani which are directed by Dharmesh Darshan. In year 2001, Aamir has appeared in the movie Lagaan, which is also his production. This film was a major and commercial success and received the nomination Best Foreign language film at the 74th Academy awards. In 2003, khan was honoured with Padma shri and in 2010, Padma bushan for his contribution in cinema by the Government of India.

Awards

In 1989, Aamir khan won the National film award-Specail Mention for his performances in the films Raakh and Qayamat se Qayamat Tak. In 2004, he won the National Film Award for Best exploration/adventure film for his performances in the film Madness in the Desert. In 2008, Aamir won the National Film Award for best film on family welfare for his work in the film Tarare zameen par. In 2010, he was nominated for the IIFA best actor awards for the film 3 idiots. In 2014, he was also nominated for the ZEE Cine awards for best actor for his performance in the film Dhoom 3.
