ARY Digital is a part of ARY groups. ARY Digital is a very famous and popular Pakistani television network available in Pakistan, North America, the Middle East and Europe. ARY Group of companies is a Dubai based holding companies. ARY Group was founded by a Pakistani businessman named Abdul Razzak Yaqoob. The headquater of ARY Groups are in Karachi, Pakistan. The network cater the needs of south asians particularly the pakistan diaspora. TV channel ARY Digital is consider to be important in Pakistani media and broadcasting industry. ARY Digital has an increasing networks of channels and each channels with a independent focus. ARY DIgital which is formerly known as Pakistani channel was launched in December 2000 in the United Kingdom to cater the increasing demands of south asian entertainmentin the region. With in a short period of three years, the unique suggesion and the content of the channel resulted in massive popularity and in order to activate greater expansion and broadcast into other famous big countries the operation were moved to Dubai Media City. It uses Samacom as the uplink teleport station, a monopolishing uplink provider which based in United Arab Emirates.
On october 18 2007 most of the Ary team were killed by one of two explosion during the covering of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto's arrival from exile. The pictures of the Downtrodden were shown live on news channels and prayer were observed for them. Later bhutto was shifted to an official government house. Recently ARY Digital has attached with several numerous other television networks to promote their contents in all over the Pakistan. Between these are Fashion TV for which a regional tv channel FTV Pakistan has been broadcasting since December 2005 on the ARY Digital network. In 2004 ARY Digital network seperates its broadcast in such a way that each differnt continents had different programming at different times, to better facilitate the viewers and audience. The channels were divided as follows ARY Digital UAE, ARY Digital USA, ARY Digital asia, ARY Digital Europe
